Members of NAHE receive the following benefits:

• The NAHE News, our monthly newsletter.  

The newsletter contains information about field trips, educational opportunities, NAHE activities, and general homeschool encouragement.

• Back-to-School Night, held annually in August.  

This night gives NAHE members the opportunity to sign up for a variety of classes and activities that will be held throughout the year.  Examples are PE classes, band, orchestra, weekly middle school and high school classes, Boy Scouts, field trips, etc.

• Resource library.  

NAHE makes many resources available for members to borrow from our library.  We have home education books, tapes of national home education speakers, high school transcript information, and more.

• Email list.  

NAHE maintains an email list for members to communicate with each other about NAHE activities and other items of interest to our families.

• Ongoing activities, which may include:  *

• skating parties
• group social activities
• pre-school activities & park days
• school photos
• spelling bee
• reading incentive programs
• physical education classes
• standardized testing assistance
• guest speakers and workshops
